  1. So those streets were paved in Columbus’s day — interesting.

    That’s an old tree — reminds me of what has been cited as the oldest tree in Paris. In a little park across the bridge from Notre Dame is a Robinia (false acacia). It looks pretty senile but is still alive, dating back to 1601… and brought from America.
