Checking out for a while, kids:

I’m going to explore the Carrizo Plain and then head over to the Salton Sea. I’ll proceed from there up through Death Valley and into the eastern Sierra to check out Bodie, Devil’s Postpile, Obsidian Dome, Mono Lake, etc. I’m going to endeavor to mix in a couple of glider flights as well, but that is more dependent on weather than my wilingness. So, we’ll see. Back at my post in a week or two…
