Ever wondered about this place on the way to (or from) Bullards Bar Dam? So did we.
It’s an abandoned shooting range formerly operated by the Yuba County Sheriff’s Department. I’m not sure who actually owns the land.
This is the interior of the trailer in the picture. Those boxes in the back are full of bowling pins. As the trailer is unlocked, it is convenient to retrieve bowling pins or targets for personal use on the range as Ian and I did very recently (we returned them afterward).
I am pathologically incapable of being drawn down roads such as this to see where they lead…
Because so often it leads to cool shit like this… What was it doing there? How did it get there? How did it get upside down? Why is it so much fun to shoot it?
